F group of trade terms
FOB (... ... the designated port of shipment) "FOB (... ... the designated port of shipment)" When the goods are at the specified port of shipment across the ship's rail, the seller to complete delivery. This means that the buyer must assume from that point the goods were lost or damaged all the risks. FOB term requires the seller to clear the goods for export.
FAS (... ... the designated port of shipment)   "FAS (... ... the designated port of shipment)" means the seller at a designated port of shipment will be delivered the goods alongside the vessel, that is, the completion of delivery. Since then the buyer must bear the loss of or damage to goods from all risks.
FCA [Cargo Carrier (... ... designated locations)]   "Cargo Carrier (... ... designated sites)" refers to the seller as long as the goods at the designated location to the carrier named by the buyer, and handling of export customs clearance, that is, the completion of delivery. It should be noted that the choice of place of delivery at that location for loading and discharge of obligations will have an impact. If the seller is located in its delivery, the seller shall be responsible for loading, if the seller in any other place of delivery, the seller is not responsible for unloading.
C Group of Trade Terms
CIP[Freight and insurance paid to (... ... the designated destination)]   "Freight and insurance paid to (... ... the designated destination)" means the seller to the designated carrier for delivery, but the seller must also pay for the goods to the destination of the freight, that is, the buyer of delivery from the seller after the all the risks and additional costs. However, in accordance with the CIP terms the seller also has to procure the buyer of goods in transit risk of loss or damage insurance.
CPT[Carriage Paid To (... named destinations ...)]   "Carriage Paid to (... ... designated sites)" means the seller to the designated carrier for delivery, but the seller must also pay for the goods to the destination of the freight. This means that the buyer assume all risks after delivery and other charges.
CIF[Cost, insurance and freight (... named port ...)] " Cost, insurance and freight "means the port of shipment when the goods across the ship's rail at the seller to complete delivery.
CFR[Cost and Freight (... named port ...)]   "Cost and Freight (... ... the designated port of destination)" means the port of shipment of goods across the ship's rail to complete the delivery of the seller, the seller must pay the goods to the named port of destination of the freight requirements and costs.
